It’s that time of year again! Time for submitting abstracts of your research, scholarship and creative works to the sixth annual Create@State Symposium.
Abstracts are encouraged from all students who are engaged in faculty-mentored research. Abstracts from creative works, capstone projects and other coursework are also welcome, as long as the project is based on an analytic or theoretical framework appropriate to the academic discipline.
Please visit our website to view a brief video for more information about what to submit and what makes a high-quality abstract. Detailed instructions, judging rubric and a link to the online submission portal are also available on our website at: www.astate.edu/research.
The Faculty Research Awards Committee will be accepting proposals for Research, Travel and Professional Development activities. Proposals are due to RTT on February 22, 2016 by 5:00 pm. You may email all documents (electronic signatures are acceptable) to firstname.lastname@example.org, or drop off your packet in the RTT office suite on the Library 6th floor. An up-to-date CV (4 pg max) must be included with all applications.
For questions please contact Rebekah Craig or your college representative. Applications and a list of college representatives are listed on the FRAC webpage. Please discuss your proposal with your college representative prior to submission. Your representative will answer questions about your proposal during the review meeting.

The threefold mission of faculty at A-State seems straightforward. But we in RTT field your questions and concerns about Research every day. This forum was created for you, our A-State community, as a place to:
*dialogue about the meaning of research across all academic disciplines
*answer your questions regarding research administration, and
*publicize research events, deadlines and accomplishments.
We welcome and encourage your comments and questions for each post. If you have specific topics you would like us to blog about, please reply in the comments section or email us at email@example.com.
If you have a question regarding research administration, student research activities, or funding opportunities please post comments on this blog or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
